We are a government-certified foreign patient attraction agency and travel agency that sells Korean tourism products to foreigners.
We provide all services including consultations on medical departments, visa support, airport pickup & drop-off, accommodation, meals, and medical interpretation during hospital treatment to foreigners who wish to receive hospital treatment in Korea, as well as customized travel products for customers to travel or rest in Korea after hospital treatment.
The number of foreign patients visiting Korea in 2023 will reach 606,000, a 2.4-fold (144.2%) increase from 248,000 in 2022.
This is a 1.2-fold increase from the previous record of 497,000 foreign patients in 2019, before the pandemic, and the highest figure since 2009, when the number of foreign patients began to be collected.
1. (By nationality) In 2023, foreign patients from 198 countries visited Korea, with the largest number coming from Japan, China, the United States, Thailand, and Mongolia.
2. Japan and China accounted for 49.5% (300,000) of foreign patients, followed by the United States at 12.7% (77,000) and Thailand at 5.1% (30,000).
→ In particular, Japan (762.8%) and Taiwan (866.7%) showed the largest increase, with an increase in the number of patients visiting dermatology, plastic surgery, and oriental medicine clinics.
Dermatology: 7,000 in 2022 → 127,000 in 2023 / Plastic Surgery: 9,000 in 2022 → 43,000 in 2023 / Integrated Oriental Medicine: 1,000 in 2022 → 11,000 in 2023
